Who Needs Pep?

To explain-
Friday we had a pep rally at my skool. Although filled with terrible hip-hop music, cheerleaders, football players and the drumline, i couldnt help but wonder why the football players and the cheerleaders are the only ones that get celebrated. Yeah, i guess they 'represent' the skool, but all the art, theater, freaks and music geeks are just as 'cool'. Grr.. i guess its just stupid that the pep rally is required and consorts, plays and art shows aren't. Its kind depressing. NOT TO MENTION the drumline(no offence) always gives me the worst head aches!!
